Humboldt- With mother nature pushing the annual Whitworth Memorial Races to Sunday, area drivers took advantage of the opportunity and checked into the 3/8 mile Humboldt Speedway to chase an elusive $2000 payday in USRA / Ray's Metal Depot B Modified action. Lebanon, Missouri's Kris Jackson started outside the pole for the 30 lap event, along side Bonner Springs, Kansas ace Ethan Isaacs. With more rainfall expected today and this evening, track official have decided to reschedule the Whitworth Memorial Races to Sunday May 29th. The entire program will run in its previously scheduled format. Gates will open at 4:30 with races starting at 7:00. This event includes a $2000 to win B Mods event. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at the Humboldt Speedway.
