Enduro Racing is about puting the fun back into racing without spending alot of money. This is a stock car racing event of the most basic kind. Build it safe, built it to last and keep it STOCK!
Drivers: Must be 16 years old. Valid ID may be required. passengers ok if 16 or older with proper ID. A minor release will need to be signed by both parents if under 18 years old and entering the pits or driving.
Cars: Any 4, 6, or 8 cylinder 2-wheel drive car, station wagon or mini-van. No convertibles, no pick up trucks. All flammable interior must be removed. All glass, plastic trim and headlight and taillight covers, hub caps, antennas, & chrome must be removed. Doors must be welded or chained shut. Stock bumpers must be attached. no body cutting, chopping or reinforcing. Wheel wells may be modified to allow for tire clearance. No bracing whatsoever except for the approved roll cage.
Safety: Officials have the final determination if a car meets safety standards.
Roll Cage: A Rolll Cage IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR YOUR SAFETY. If you choose to have a roll cage, it must consist of four point cage or continuous hoops 1.5" x .095 wall steel tubing minimum. Roll cage must be welded to frame, but cannot be used to reinforce the frame or body of the car. Drivers door bar located inside door sheet metal, or, if outside the car, the bar can be no larger than 1" x 2" box or 2" round, mounted against the body, with no sharp edges. Door bar can run from front door seam to no more than 12" behind driver seat. Padding in driver compartment recommended. All front windshields require 3 bars in front of driver minimum or full screen over opening. Radiator reinforcement optional.
Safety Equipment: Driver window nets recommended. Aluminum racing seats OK. Four point, 3" safety belt recommended, mounted to roll cage. Lap and shoulder belts securely mounted and in working condition. It is highly recommended that a rear seat support for seats be added. Helmets must be Snell 95 or better, Drivers must wear minimum of long sleeve shirts, long pants, socks and boots or sneakers. Full fire suit, gloves & neck collar is recommended.
Engine/Transmission: Any stock engine & stock transmission combination. Must have a stock clutch for standard tranny & a stock torque converter on automatic transmission.
Carburetor: One 2 barrel or 4 barrel only. Must be OEM Stock. No double pumpers. No electric fuel pumps unless car is factory stock fuel injected. Stock air cleaners.
Tires & Wheels: DOT street legal tires, 60, 65, 70, or 75 series measuring 9" or less. Steel wheels 8" max.
Must fit hoop when inflated to 20 lbs. One inch lug nut recommended. No wheel spacers. Reinforced wheels ok.
Suspension: Must be absolutely stock. NO modifications allowed. Steering and suspension may not be reinforced in any way. Stock springs & shocks in stock location. No spacers.
Radiator: One radiator in stock location. no auxiliary cooling systems anywhere else.
Battery: In stock location. May be located in drivers compartment only if securely mounted in approved container.
Gas Tank: Are safest in stock location. If moved to trunk, tank must be strapped in two directions with steel straps, securely bolted to trunk floor. Complete firewall mandatory. Connections must be secured with no fuel lines hanging below the chassis. Fuel cells are permitted. Pump gas only, no alcohol or racing fuel.
Exhaust: Stock only. Mufflers may be removed. NO Headers.
Car Number: Minimum 18" on doors & roof. A number will be provided by the track according to what number is drawn for starting position. MAKE IT READABLE!!!
Misc Items: Driveshafts must be painted white. Locked rear gear OK. Safetyloop must be mounted around driveshaft no furter back then 6" behind front yoke. Ignition OEM only. If keyed, key must be secured to the column. toggle switch OK. Firewalls must be completely sealed. No radios, video camera or cell phones in any car. NO AFTERMARKET PARTS.
Claims: Any car finishing in the money is subject to a claim of the whole car for $750 cash at promoters discretion. If the winning car is bought it will be auctioned off at end of the event. Seat and belts do not go with car.
Scoring - Each car must provide his or her scorer.
All cars will be inspected for safety regulations prior to each race. Officials have the final determination if the car meets safety standards and is eligible to race.

CHAIN CAR RULES
1. There will be two (2) cars chained together
2. Eligible-type cars are Demo, Enduro or Pure Stock type Cars
3. Both cars must have working foot brakes. Back car must have a motor, but not running
4. All glass must be removed.
5. All doors must be welded or chained shut.
6. All cars must have seat belts with shoulder harnesses. (Factory or Custom)
7. Chain only may be used to secure vehicles. No double chains allowed. Must be securely chained to a bumper or frame. If vehicles become unattached, they are done with their race and will be scored accordingly. Distance from vehicle to vehicle must be no less than 4 feet and no more than 6 feet, 3/8 chain max.
8. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age; if under 18, driver must have a signed and notarized parental permission form on file at the speedway.
9. All drivers must wear an approved helmet, with jacket and long pants.
10. Humboldt Speedway reserves the right to add or change any rule for competitive or safety reason at any given time. ALL CARS ARE SUBJECT TO TRACK APPROVAL!!!

Enduro and Chain Race will pay 3 positions - 1st - $1,000, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250
Pit Passes Are $30 Adult Admission - $10 Kid's (6-12) - $5 with adult
If you are entering in both Enduro and Chain Car you will
need to Pay $30 to enter each division and let them know
when you sign in.
