General Rules

1.  Anyone entering the pit area must buy a pit pass and sign a release form. Minors sign all minor sheets and there own release.

2.  All cars will pack the racetrack if asked to.

3.  All cars must have a fully charged fire extinguisher. Must be in a quick release style holder except if extinguisher has remote style button.

4.  All cars must have a separate frame mounted tow loop. Loop needs to be easily accessible by wrecker crew and shall be made of steel and be capable of holding full weight of car. Need to have 1 loop at front and 1 loop at rear of car.

5. NO cars will have any ignition components within reach of driver at any time driver is in car.

6.  All helmets and any other safety equipment and/or devices must pass track inspection.

7.  NO pit crew are allowed on racetrack to work on cars for any reason. Violators automatically disqualify their driver from that race. If you need someone to look at your car, do not stop at the top of turn 4. you must stop on the frontstretch or the backstretch only.

8.  NO alcohol in pit area until after all races have been run and all the cars have been parked.

9.  Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be suspended.

10.  No driver changes are allowed or car will be disqualified and loose points, after hot laps.

11.  Anyone involved in a wreck will go to the rear.

12.  Anyone causing 2 yellows or spins will be sent to pits.

13.  Anyone intentionally hitting, spinning or wrecking another car will automatically receive the BLACK FLAG. You will forfeit all pay and points for that event.

14.  There will only be 1 warning given to any car jumping the start. Second offense gets you a trip to the pits to the rear.  Habitual violators will either get 1 warning or none at all.

15. Excessive speeding in the pit area will result in the driver and car being suspended for 2 weeks for first offense. Second offense is suspension for remainder of the year.

16.  Driver's can only drive in one class a night.

17.  Modified driver's must have 2 years prior racing experience.. Must have a notarized minor release form on file for anyone under 18 years old. Factory Stock, Street & B-Mod class age minimum is 12.

18.  Any new car signing in after first 2 weeks of season will start tail back of heat.

19.  Tire changing allowed only in feature events. Must be done in tire changing area (behind grandstand). If you drive past this area you are not allowed to return to racetrack. You may not start a race on a flat tire.

20.  All fuel bought from the racetrack must be paid for that night.

21.  In case of rain after heats have been ran, features will be ran the following week. Keep your pit pass.

22.  Winnings will be paid to driver unless we are notified otherwise.

23.  Reserved parking in the pits is available for a $30.00 fee for the season. The East Reserved parking will not be saved on special events due to the many big rigs that are hard to fit into our Pit area. No setting out tires, fuel jugs, etc to save a spot.

24.  ANY fighting will result in a 1 week suspension from track. Second offense will result in suspension for the remainder of the year. Any fighting with track officials will result in suspension from the track indefinitely and all legal action will be taken against you. Drivers are responsible for the actions of their pit crew and any family members in the grandstands. Who gets suspension is up to security and staff.

25.  No kids allowed in cars to pack the track.

26.  All car numbers must be at least 3" wide and 18" high on each side and on roof, preferable in a contrasting color to the rest of the car. If we can't see your number, you can't be accounted for.

27.  All cars are open to inspection at any time while on the racetrack property.

28.  Humboldt Speedway reserves the right to change or modify any rule at any time in an effort to improve competition.

29.  ATV's are allowed only if they are driven appropriately. They must be loaded directly after the races. If you or pit crew is warned for inappropriate driving, you will not be able to bring them back.

30.  No dogs allowed, even if they are on a leash.

31.  If someone else will be driving your car, it is important to let them know at the pit gate when signing in. this way the points will go to who is driving. If it is found out later, you may loose points for that race.
32.  If employee tells you to do something, and you refuse to listen, bringing the promoter to the situation, you will be disqualified for that race.
Racing is a dangerous sport, driver's entering speedway assume all risk and liability.
