Well it was a hot one at Humboldt Speedway but still had a good crowd in attendance to watch all of our awesome drivers. The night Kicked off with the Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks we saw a driver pick up his first win in 2023 and the Hummer. Derrek Wilson ran an awesome race and put himself up front at the end of the A Feature after starting 4th in the race. Coming in 2nd was the 613 of Ethan Vance who also ran a really good race. Third went to the 10G of Grant Reeves and 4th went to the 36A of Braden Bowman and rounding out your top five was the 34 of Chris Wilkerson.
In the Extrusion INC. Midwest Mods where the next class to hit the track as we had 23 cars check in on Friday night. We saw the driver in the 16 of Mathew Kay pick up the win and we talked a lot about him at the begging of the season but had a mid season wreck but he said on Friday night that they have the car back on track. The car coming in 2nd was the 21A of Andrew Hodges who started 7th in the A Feature. Third went to the 09 of Tret Bailey and 4th went to the 9 of Jon Westhoff and finishing 5th was the 01JR of Tyler Davis.
USRA Tuners have been struggling all year with there car count but had 7 Cars check in on Friday night it but even with a low car count still putting on one heck of a show between the 4T of Trenton Wilson and the 17H of Clint Haigler and they had another close one on Friday night but coming out on top was the 17H of Clint Haigler. Even though he came in 2nd Trenton wilson ran a great race as he started 6th in the A Feature. Taking 3rd was the 21S of Jesse Stair and 4th went to the 15 of Travis Bockover and rounding out the top 5 was the 14 of Craig Gibson.
Hitting the track to finish out the night for our regular racing we had a visitor come to town from Springfield, MO and that was the 66 of Ryan Gillmore and he started on the pole and never looked back and picked up the win. Once again the 22 of Brian McGowen was a brides maid as for the second week in a row coming in 2nd. Third went to the 17 of Henry Chambers and 4th went to the 56 of Shadren Turner and taking home 5th was the 28 of Andy Bryant.
Then to round out the night to have a little bit of fun we put some mechanics in the cars to run some laps and and see who is the best. Well we didn't have enough cars to fill up the Factory Stocks and the USRA Tuners on the track at the same time and Picking up the win for the Tuners was the 15 of Kyle Ward driving the 15 normally is Travis Bockover. Then Picking up the win for the Factory Stocks was Chance Aiello in the 14M2 which in normally driven by Ashley Mueller. Then we saw the mechanics in the Midwest Mods hit the track and picking up the win was Merril Lamb in the 1 car and that car is normally driven by Trevor Holman. The last cars to hit the track was your USRA B-Mods and picking up the win was Mason Sigg and normally driving the car is Ryan Smith. It was a good time seeing those guys rip around the track.
