NCRA Modifieds head to Humboldt May 4

By David Smith, Jr., NCRA PR (Park City, KS) -- We are just a little over a week before the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division kicks back into race action as they make their fifth career appearance at Humoldt Speedway in Humobldt, Kansas on Friday night, May 4.

This will be the first time since 2012 the series has visited the track affectionately known as “The Hummer” when series regular Tyler Davis got the best of the series and track regulars. This “McCarthy Auto Group Modified Mania NCRA Challenge” will pay $1000 to win. NCRA rules will apply however, no spoilers will be allowed for this event.

Cody Schniepp of Wichita currently leads the series point standings by a mere 25 points over the season-opening “Autism Awareness Challenge” feature winner Tanner Mullens and defending three-time tour champion Dan Powers.

The tracks NASCAR modified division will be led by Mitch Keeler, Tad Davis, Jim Body, Paden Phillips and more. Over thirty drivers from four states are expected.

More information will be provided later this week.
