Well the night started off with a bang as we ran the rained out A feature from the last time the Extrusion Inc. Midwest Mods ran and the driver that had been on a hot start was the 16 of Mathew Kay out front and caught up with lap traffic and tried to get to the outside of a car and they got together and put the 16 car stuck up on top of the front stretch wall. Championship night started off with bang with the opening ceremony and the playing of the National Anthem by guitar player Anthony Schettler. Then the Extrusion Inc. Midwest Mods hit the track. There were only 15 laps and 16 points separating Matthew Kay and Blake Sutton. Sutton in the 99JR got out to an early lead.
